I remember seeing Alex & Sierra the first time they were on X Factor and I instantly got goosebumps and tears in my eyes. I knew it was love. I watched the season religiously on Hulu (darn for being too poor for cable) & literally sobbed when they won. I waited anxiously for them to come out with a C.D and the timing was perfect. Their CD came out during a very dark time last year and several of the songs I listened to on repeat for hours every day. It’s crazy what music can do to you. Of course, I keep tabs on them on Social Media & so when I saw that they were having a concert nearby, I asked a good friend of mine if she wanted to go with me. It worked out perfectly that Leanne is a huge fan of Andy Grammer & that it was a perfect excuse for us to leave the babies with the hubbies and sneak away for some girl time.
Leanne found an amazing deal on VIP Meet & Greet tickets with Andy & so we got to listen to an acoustic version of his hit song, “Honey I’m Good” & then got to get autographs and individual pictures taken with him. He was adorable & so down to earth. We couldn’t get over how chill & laid back he was.
I only cried for a minute when Alex & Sierra came on stage (and maybe during my favorite song) I might have thought about jumping on stage to just squeeze them a billion times during their set. They are just as perfect live as they are on TV.
Andy Grammer put on an amazing concert & we rocked out being so close to the stage. It was so nice to just sing and dance and forget about all the things. Nothing like some good music to get you recharged and ready to take on the world. I wish I could have recorded the ENTIRE concert. Of course, my phone was full & I was frantically trying to email and delete pictures to make space (someone remind me to the 64gb phone next upgrade!)
So thankful for good friends, amazing music and a perfect mommy break. I posted some videos/photos on Instagram during the concert – so if you aren’t, make sure to follow me on Instagram so you never miss a thing.
XOXO.

Looks like a lot of fun. I have never been in a concert before (yes, i’m a geek. lol), but I would love to start soon. You’re so lucky you have the VIP Meet & Greet tickets. What an awesome way to catch your favorite musician.
