Since Grandpa Bruce was in town last week, we decided we’d take him to one of our favorite spots – Sedona! We’ve been several times before and decided to explore a new part of the area. We rented a car (Our ‘baby blue’ Prius was totaled last week) and found a hotel in Cottonwood, about 20 minutes from central Sedona & we fell in love. There is a cute little downtown area & Tu’Zighhoot was right outside of town. Admission is $10 per person (Chad is military so we have a pass) – but it is beautiful to see & read about the lives of the Apache individuals who lived here before.
Then of course we walked around downtown Sedona & Presley enjoyed her second ice cream cone. We’ve never been able to get her to like ice cream, she doesn’t like the texture – but this last week she’s had two cones! Never thought I’d be so excited that my child likes ice cream, but I am! There isn’t anything cuter than a Toddler eating an ice cream cone – I’m sure of it!
