I am thrilled to be here today with Ragu & sharing their new Homestyle sauce. I decided to cook up a fun recipe in my neighbors kitchen (the one we just finished remodeling) and I am so jealous at how gorgeous the kitchen is! Everything is perfect, white and clean. Plus, Susi is the epitome of a minimalist so everything is tidy, organized, spotless & perfect for pictures. Anyways, back to this amazing sauce that you can find at your local grocery store; The new Homestyle sauce is available in lots of flavors (seen here) but I chose to go with the Thick & Hearty Traditional sauce. It is thicker sauce that will hug your pasta, plus it is prepared with delicious herbs, and the sauce doesn’t contain artificial colors, flavors, or high fructose corn syrup – that is a Mom win in my book. This is the perfect family meal: Delicious, filling & perfect for toddlers – Presley will eat a lot of this meal if it is separated on her plate. The pasta, cheese and chicken are delicious and healthy & she usually ends up having seconds of most of it. Recipe is simple & easy to follow. You will coat your chicken in a an egg & then cover it with bread crumbs, some amazing spices & then let that cook in the oven while you prepare your pasta.
Any sort of pasta noodle can work, but if you are entertaining a tiny sassy boss, I recommend the bowtie variety. They are adorable and fun for littles to eat! Plus, watching your child pretend to wear a bow on their neck or hair is hilarious – we have had our fair share of laughs with Presley and the bowties. I mean, bowtie mustaches? Adorable. Try eating without your mustache falling off!
When your pasta is done cooking & drained, top with cooked chicken, your favorite flavor of the new Homestyle Ragu sauce and of course cheese & lime – because yum. And like always, make extra because I promise you will want to go back for more.
This dish will make you want to curl up in a warm blanket & just relax with happiness. It’s THAT good.
