A tiny little energetic 3 year old skipped her nap yesterday and passed out so stinking early I decided I would sit down and share these amazing pictures from Chrissy from the last Blogger meet up I was able to go to. I absolutely love Arizona and the fact there are so many bloggers – it’s second to Utah and the community of girls I have behind me here is so inspiring and uplifting. I just can’t imagine leaving all of them next year when we relocate with the Army.
So, the August meet up was hosted at the same location as the April meet up in Mesa at the Falls Event Center. The center is beautiful & I always make sure to make a few trips to the bathroom because it is huge & just breathtaking. Breakfast started with Dunkin Donuts & Stonyfield yogurt and I just let myself indulge and eat up. Worth it.
After some icebreakers & mingling we got to hear from Merrick’s Art & she told us all about Instagram & algorithms and lots of exciting blog jargon that doesn’t make much sense to anyone but this group of girls huddled around tables eating donuts and note-taking like crazy people.
Then it was time for roundtables. They are an amazing use of time – but it is so hard for me to pick which tables to get to. I chose to visit the snapchat table to learn more about my weakest social media & then went to Kristyns’ table to learn about Facebook & walked away with some amazing tips for beating the algorithm that Facebook implemented recently. Plus, I’ve been following her since I started blogging so it was super cool to pick her brain & talk to her for a bit after the round table was over. She is the ultimate believer in ‘community over competition’
Then, of course we were spoiled by Sprouts & got to have a delicious lunch before heading home to pick up my sweet girl from a friends house. I think one of my favorite parts of these meet-ups is the fact that is sort of recharges my batteries, gives me some new perspective to approach things & I am surrounded by people who understand the crazy hard work all of this is. I love it SO much. I never thought I’d fall in love with blogging 8 years ago when a friend of ours started a blog for me, but that was probably the best thing that has ever happened to me; because it is now a part of my soul.

This looks like so much fun! There is a nice group of Hawaii bloggers and I’ve been trying to organize a meet up —you’ve inspired me!! 🙂
