Early last year I started a book reading challenge (2015 Reading Challenge) and Renee recommended I read a book by Colleen Hoover. It happened to be the first book in a set and so I read the next one. Then I read another, and another & soon enough I was obsessed with Colleen Hoover & read everything she’s ever published. She quickly rose to my favorite author title & I eagerly counted down the days until her newest book ‘It Ends with Us’ came out. I read it right away and as soon as Colleen announced on instagram she was going on a book tour, I bought a ticket in about 4 minutes. Of course, to get ready for the day I created a matching t-shirt (with my favorite HTV from Expressions Vinyl) & one of my favorite quotes from her book Maybe Someday & anxiously headed to the Changing Hands Bookstore in Phoenix.
Since I went alone, I was able to score an open seat right up front even though I was in one of the last groups to be seated! I couldn’t wait & loved being around all the other CoHo lovers talking about the latest book & which one was our favorite.
Seriously the most amazing down to earth author. I recorded the entire 20 minute group meeting because I wanted to be able to share it with my best friend Renee (a fellow CoHo obsessed reader) so I finally got around to uploading it to Youtube & thought i’d share it hear. She answers tons of questions about her other books & you can really get to know more about her & some of her thought processes and how she writes. It was amazing to listen to her!
Do I look totally geeked out. I was.
I couldn’t wait get home to frame my signed quote. This was one of my favorites from one of her previous books so I trimmed down my paper and put it on some gold worded paper from Michaels & then in a plain black frame. It ties together my office perfectly!
