I was super excited when my baby brother and I decided to make a Vegas trip happen while he was in town for Chads graduation. Vegas is just short of 5 hours from our place in Arizona so it was a completely doable plan. We found a great hotel at the very end of the strip that we all cozied up in to help keep costs down. It ended up working out absolutely perfect and we were all exhausted by the end of the weekend.
As soon as we arrived we freshened up and found a groupon and went to grab a steak/wine dinner a few doors down from where we were staying while also exploring a few hotels down on the older side of the strip.
After exploring Presley and I showered and got ready for bed, while the others went and explored an outdoor concert (no kids were allowed) so we got to tap out. I’m a sucker for a good night of sleep so I didn’t mind one bit! Presley kept asking ‘why is everyone still awake when it’s night time?’
After a good nights rest, we grabbed a delicious breakfast and then headed to find some free parking so we could walk up and down the strip. As soon as we decided on Vegas I started making a list of what activities we could do that were free/cheap and I stumbled across this amazing blog that highlighted key features in order of the hotels as you were walking down the strip (find that list HERE). And with that being said, I believe it is time for a photo dump.
SO much fun – but so tiring. We walked up and down the entire strip in one day and I think we did like 13 miles, I literally could not feel my ankles as we climbed into bed and zonked out.
Here is a snippet video I put together from our weekend in Vegas! Enjoy! XO
