We decided since we were in Dallas and Glen Rose was “only” just over an hour away we would make a day trip to Dinosaur World to explore. Presley has been obsessed with dinosaurs for the past year and our life mission is to make her feel like she is on top of the world, so this trip was a must. Mission accomplished. We had so much fun. Glen Rose is around an hour and a half outside of Dallas and in the middle of the nowhere so it was pretty crazy diving up to Dinosaur World. All of Dinosaur World is outside and pet friendly, you are allowed to bring food and drinks so it’s a great adventure to take your kids to. Load up the stroller with snacks and cold drinks and get ready to explore! It was really hot, so we definitely drank tons of water and explored the indoor air conditioned museum and animatronics. Certain times of the day there are Fossil Dig times were the kids can dig and take 3 fossils of their choosing. Dinosaur World also has gem mining which we did (twice because I fell in love) at an extra cost but it is definitely worth it! Pictures to prove it of course:
