With 48 hours left in Oklahoma, we decided it was finally time to take a trip up to the city to explore the Oklahoma City Memorial and I’m so glad we made it a priority because it was so beautiful and something I had on my Oklahoma T0-Do list since we found out we’d be spending a year at Fort Sill.
We were there on a Sunday so we were able to park on the street for free right across from the memorial. I had very little knowledge about the memorial, but thanks to Google was able to find out a ton of information that made the memorial even that more special. You can read all about the bombing and events that took place after here. We were there in the evening so we weren’t able to to take a tour of the inside but we still had an amazing experience exploring the grounds.
I would definitely make it a priority to visit if you are in the area!
Now, Chad is off to Georgia for training, while Presley and I head to Louisiana to hang out with friends before we head to Italy! AH!
