Explore Spain: Our week in Las Palmas (Gran Canary)

I shared a Travel Guide for Las Palmas yesterday, but thought I would share an overload of pictures from our time spent relaxing on the beach. Vicenza is bloody freezing so when we were thinking of what to do over the Holiday break – we knew we wanted to go somewhere warm! The Gran Canary islands were calling our name! Las Palmas is such a beautiful island and there is so much to do – we didn’t even get to half of the amazing things we could have – Im not complaining though! I’d be content just sitting on the beach for months on end!

Our view was amazing! We were a 3 minute walk from the beach and on the fourth floor so we could sit on our balcony and watch all the people playing at the waterpark or in the pool. We spent a majority of our time playing on the beach. Presley tried digging to the middle of the earth, explored and built her own tide pools in the rocks, we made some friend who we hung out with several times and I even finished two books! We found little hermit grabs, explored caves, built sand castles…….Oh man, take me back already! I’m so sick of being bundled up and freezing!

They had kid friendly events right after dinner & then more adult geared activities after that. We had so much fun exploring our own little private part of the island. If you’d like to visit Las Palmas and want all the nitty gritty details – check out this post.

Thanks for following along on our Italian adventures – see more from Gran Canary (including videos) on my instagram!
