Explore Spain: Sunset in Cadiz

We only had a day to do both Gibraltar and Cadiz so while I wanted to spend way more time in Cadiz – visiting Gibraltar trumped the two choices. We made it just in time to visit the Cathedral and climb the bell tower to watch the sunset. Afterwards we walked around the town, explored the Parque Genoves & then made a To-Do list for all the things to do if we ever make it back to visit this beautiful white city! I don’t feel like there is enough time to ever see everything we want to see!

Cadiz is an ancient port city located in the Southern part of Spain. It has over 100 watchtowers and the view from the Cathedral’s Bell Tower is absolutely breathtaking. The Bell Towers bells ring every 15 minutes so we snapped a billion pictures while we waited for the bells to go off (see the video on my Instagram highlight reel – Cadiz). Presley had to cover her ears it was so loud! Definitely worth the 5 EUR to climb up the steps…..here are the pictures from our few hours in Cadiz & our list of all the things we need to do if we ever get back!
