We are so lucky to have so much family in Washington. We had lots of people to visit and spend time with and were so lucky to be constantly on adventures and exploring. It’s amazing how much more family mean to you when you hardly get to see them. We cherished every single moment we had with everyone & are so thankful that everyone worked around Presleys nap schedule & crankiness so we could make the most of our time.
We got to spend time with Chads mom on several occasions & Presley had a blast opening MORE presents & cuddling with this adorable puppy!
Presley was obsessed with her cousin Brooklyn. She really couldn’t get enough of her. She would just watch her & then try and copy whatever she was doing. It was nice to see her get along with her so well & really melted my heart how much she loves big kids. She loved chasing and wrestling with Brooklyn. They also decorated cookies together & Brooklyn got Presley HOOKED on Hotwheels!
While we were in town, we decided that since Presley loved cars so much that we would pick out a few. We went to Target and layed out a bunch for her & she picked 5 of them. She couldn’t wait to open them up & practice on the tracks!
One of the last days we were in town, we were able to stop by and spend some time with our cousins & we had a delicious meal & played games & opened even more presents!
And as quickly as we settled in it was time to go. It was bittersweet leaving – we loved every single second of being surrounded and loved on by family, but Presley was starting to get sick (her second molars are coming in) and I was ready to get her home & back into her own comfortable setting.
She ROCKED the plain ride home. She had her own seat (we didn’t pay, the plain wasn’t full) and she seriously sat in her seat eating ice, sipping on Apple juice & eating snacks for almost 3 hours. Chad studied, I read a book – it was CRAZY heavenly.
I hope you spent the Holidays as surrounded and spoiled by family as we did! XOXO
