Holy smokes! What a weekend! We went camping {again y’all!} and then I switched blog hosts and my site was down for awhile. Anyways. I’m so ready to get caught up & share all the exciting adventures we have been having lately.
So, I shared last week about our big family trip to Sedona & how we did 2 hikes in a day & drove back and forth (it’s about 2.5 hours away from our home), so if you missed the first post about Devils Bridge you can find it HERE.
Devils Bridge is a very popular Sedona hike (We’ve done it every time we’ve gone!) because the Bridge is spectacular for pictures & it only takes a few hours to complete. Our next favorite spot in Sedona in West Fork. It’s about 20 minutes away from Devils Bridge but absolutely incredible because they are complete opposites. Devils Bridge is very dry & just dirt & rocks – and then right around the corner is West Fork & it is lush and green. It’s like a completely different world.
We’ve never actually completed that hike – I think there are 7 rivers that you cross over – but we’ve only ever made it to 3-4 before we are wiped from the day and ready to start the drive home. Maybe next time! Because it was our guests first trip to Sedona, we only did a short hike & then headed to Downtown Sedona for some shopping and exploring & then called it a night and headed home…
And there ya have it. As if our trips from Sedona HERE, HERE, or HERE weren’t enough to convince you to come spend a weekend with us.
For real, we’ve got a guest room and your future tan is calling your name.
