We packed in tons yesterday, so today we had a To-Do list of all the extra stuff we wanted to see. It was easy to map the day out since we learned how to use fast passes, found out my Grandmas handicapped cart (that mostly I drove around) got us to the front of most lines & that Presley wasn’t afraid of anything. First, we met Ariel right as we entered. She was SO beautiful!! Presley loved her!
Then right when we got to the start of main street, Mickey & Minnie were there taking pictures & signing autographs. We knew we could only see one before they were escorted somewhere else & Presley picked Minnie. She gave her a huge hug & a huge kiss & was so sweet smiling & gently touching minnie. We snuck in for a family photo & it’s probably my favorite EVER! Then, we took the train and went straight to It’s A Small World – the wait time on this yesterday was OVER TWO HOURS!! The lines were super short & we got in within 20 minutes! Presley loved all the singing & bright moving little people. It was decorated for Christmas & absolutely beautiful!!
Presley fell asleep at like 1030 so we just let her sleep in Chads arms. We decided to go on Pirates of the Caribbean & she slept through the ENTIRE thing! (Seriously, Disney did wonders for her sleep those few days!!) Then, we stopped at this cute little place to get some warm, covered with powdered sugar beignets. They were so delicious & warm…I need to figure out how to make them. Yumm. I could have eaten the ENTIRE bag of 6 by myself.
It was time to see another princess so we saw Merida and decided to wait in her line. About halfway through we were told that in 10 minutes Rapunzel would be coming. Rapunzel is Presleys FAVORITE – so we decided if we got to the front and Rapunzel wasn’t there, we would keep letting people pass us. The timing worked out perfect for us to get close enough to Merida, but then Rapunzel came right when we were up. Presley was ecstatic! She just kept saying yes to everything….”Did you do your own hair?” “Yessss”.
Then, we headed to see Tinkerbell. Pixie Hollow was SO COOL. The grass is super tall so you feel like you are a tiny fairy – we were hoping to see all the fairies, but there were just 2 inside. Presley has loved Tinkerbell movies for awhile, so she loved to see this all coming to life.
Then, we waited in line for Autopia & Presley drove on Chads lap for awhile until they got caught {lame}. She didn’t seem to be too crazy about this one. I remember thinking this was the coolest ride ever 15 years ago! Then, Presley decided it was time for another nap. She hasn’t taken two naps in a day for a long time – Disney was wearing her out. While she napped, I found this adorable Starbucks Disneyland mug for $14.99. It was so beautiful and begging me to buy it, so I did.
Once it was dark enough, we watched the Night parade & snuggled warm in blankets & cozy big jackets. They had lots of amazing floats & great music. It was so cool to see everything lit up so bright! Then, we went to Splash Mountain & I put my big kid pants on and rode it with my Dad and brother. Totally worth it for this gem – Guys, I couldn’t fake that look of terror if I wanted to. I was straight up terrified.
Then, we cried a little bit & decided it was time to end our first Disneyland Adventure. Until next time Disney.
