I’ve got a gorgeous post for you today! Chad’s brother Richard came to visit us before Chad headed back to Dental school & while he was here we headed to Sedona. It’s just a little over 2 hours for us & definitely a perfect weekend getaway. I’m going to convince Chad to take Presley and me back next time he has a 3 day weekend. There is so much to do & it is absolutely gorgeous! We drove up, did a hike, had dinner & then drove back so we were all exhausted after a long day – next time I definitely want to stay overnight. The weather was absolute perfection, it was in the mid-’80s & there was a cloud covering most of our hike – so it was hot, but not scorching (which is pretty amazing for Arizona!). Of course, as usual, I lugged my huge camera with us & am glad I did (like I always am!) because I got some amazing pictures – here is one katrillion for your scrolling pleasure.
I love it when Presley decides to nap in the car on our way somewhere, in most cases – she wakes up happy & ready to go. The timing of this cuddle nap with Daddy was perfect. She woke up happy, refreshed & ready to hike Devils Bridge!
Hiking with a Toddler is extremely slow – especially when they don’t want to sit in a hiking backpack & insist on walking most of the way. BUT, with no agenda for the remainder of the day, it was easy to just let Presley explore and hike at her pace. She loved all the red sand & ended up covering herself in it by the end of the hike.
We were so glad we decided to bring Dexter (who is a big pansy in the heat & wants to be carried the entire time!) because there were so many other dogs on the hike. Of course, every time we saw a dog Presley had to stop to say hello & to get some kisses.
Devils Bridge is this little ledge that you can walk out on, it’s actually much wider than it looks. Such an amazing picture opportunity & so incredible to walk out & look all around you at gorgeous Sedona. It truly was amazing (I’d love to be there during sunset!)
Little miss hiker fell asleep in Daddies arm on our hike back to the car. Must be nice to just sleep wherever & whenever you want huh? After the hike, we found a hill that the boys could longboard down & got to watch some of the sunsets before we headed to dinner.
So, there you have it. One katrillion pictures from Sedona. It was a blast, I’m already itching to go back. Hope you have a fabulous Tuesday. We’ve got a playdate, yard work & then I’m catching up on Bachelor in Paradise tonight – should be a pretty stellar day. XOXO

Oh, Tausha! I love all these pictures.
You have one beautiful little girl.
And, that photo of her holding your face and giving you kisses…needs to be in a huge frame!
