Cinque Terre – Vernazza

Cinque Terre was the next stop on our overnight trip to visit Pisa so we didn’t have a lot of time to explore the five cities. We are anxiously awaiting another trip back to hike & suntan in this gorgeous area of Italy. We decided to explore Vernazza for a few hours and it was beautiful! This place definitely gets packed when the weather is nice because it was still pretty chilly and people were already sunbathing and playing in the water! We threw some stale snacks from my purse to the fish, threw rocks in the water & just wandered around the streets in town. You cannot go wrong anywhere here.

The area was marked off was a ‘no trespassing’ sign but since others were doing it we just jumped over the chain and went for it!

When are you thinking of visiting? We would LOVE to show you around Italy!

We eliminated Cinque Terre from our itinerary in lieu of going to Greece. But I definitely want to go back and visit the 5 cities!
